Product FAQ
Product FAQ
Is the E2 GPS good for beginners?
Yes. In GPS mode it holds its position and altitude when you let go of the sticks, and GOOSKY describes it as easy to learn even for beginners.
What comes in the box?
The ready-to-fly package includes the helicopter, a portable carrying case, one 3S 1600 mAh battery, a charger, the A8 remote control, a spare main shaft, spare screws and cable ties, and hex and Phillips screwdrivers.
How long does it fly on one battery?
About 15 minutes with the included 3S 1600 mAh battery.
What happens when the battery gets low?
If the battery voltage drops too low during flight, the E2 GPS starts an automatic return to home.
How does return to home work?
In GPS mode, switch to Return-to-Home. The helicopter flies back to its takeoff point, lands and shuts off the motors.
Can it hold position without GPS?
Yes. The vision system and TOF lidar provide position and altitude hold where GPS is unavailable.
How high and how far can it fly?
The electronic fence limits it to under 100 m (328 ft) altitude and under 300 m (984 ft) distance.
How big and heavy is it?
483 mm long, 132 mm high and 80 mm wide, with a 490 mm main rotor. It weighs about 538 g ready to fly.
Is the soldier figurine included?
No. The Marine Corps figurine shown in some photos is not included.
Do I need to register it with the FAA?
At about 538 g it is above the FAA's 250 g (0.55 lb) threshold, so recreational pilots in the US generally need to register it and follow Remote ID rules. Please check the current rules at faa.gov before you fly.
